New Suite of Brachypodium Resource Pages Released
Brachypodium.org is proud to release an updated version of our suite of Brachypodium distachyon resource pages.
- Our BrachyBlast portal has gotten a facelift, along with updated databases, and improved functionality which allows direct transfer between a gene or region of interest and the appropriate GBrowse region or BrachyDB page.
- The Brachypodium Database has received the same treatment, and allows users to query a comprehensive information database for details on any Brachypodium distachyon gene included in the MIPS v1.2 annotation. We will continually update this database with information as data is made public. Future functionality may include user-curation.
- Our FTP page has a new home, but hosts much the same in terms of files. We will update our FTP with the most recent files as data is made public, and we will attempt to mirror as much raw data and public files as is feasible.
- Our GBrowse is new and improved as well. With improved functionality to interact with BrachyBlast and the BrachyDB, getting information from interesting loci is easier, as is identifying interesting loci, with the plethora of array experiment data we've made publicly viewable. Adding new tracks is always possible, as is updating existing tracks. If you know of, or have, data you'd like to view in gbrowse, you can upload it yourself, or send it to us and we can host it for everyone to see.
- Finally, barely out of its infancy, our array site allows users to analyze array experiments, by uploading .CEL files and selecting their desired filters and statistical analyses.
All feedback is appreciated. If you encounter bugs, have questions, suggestions, heads-up on datasets we could host here, or other comments, feel free to email the administration team via the link in the page footer.
